
Established in 1981 we are South Yorkshire’s premier competitive swimming club and train at the prestigious Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield. Our aim is to compete at the highest levels in the sport, and within our squads we have many International swimmers and National medallists. We also compete at district, county and regional levels, including various open meets through-out the year. We are regularly ranked in the top 10 clubs in Great Britain.

First Weekend Yorkshire Winter Competition 2017

For the second year running, the Yorkshire Winter Competition will run over two weekends, with the younger age groups competing over the weekend of the 30th September and 1st October in Leeds. Despite being so early in the season, there were many fantastic swims. By the Sunday evening COSSS swimmers had won 37 medals (17 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze) and there were many more top ten finishers.

World Student Games and World Junior Championships roundup

Five COSSS swimmers represented GB at two World meets this Summer. Izzy Grant and Joe Litchfield qualified for the World Student Games in Taipei and Amy Bell, Cameron Brooks-Clarke and Elliot Clogg for the World Junior Championships in Indianapolis.
